Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) is a mental health disorder marked by atypical levels of hyperactivity and impulsive actions. Common symptoms encompass challenges in concentration, difficulties in task organization, and issues with sustaining attention. ADHD may develop due to underdevelopment in certain areas of the brain, particularly the prefrontal cortex, which is responsible for managing executive functions. Treatment alternatives can involve behavioral therapy, medication, and educational assistance. It is the most frequently diagnosed mental disorder among children, although it can also impact adults, often resulting in challenges with daily activities and responsibilities.
